Kyiv beauty salon keeps working despite shattered windows from Russian strike

Social media users reacted to the photo, highlighting the resilience of Ukrainians.

I keep seeing threads from Westerners asking: explain to me, how, how do they do this in a city being bombed by missiles??? Well, like this. Morning, breakfast, okay, time to clean up and get to work. A big anthill,” journalist Yevhen Spirin wrote.

Producer Oleksandr Bukhtiiar wrote briefly: “For Ukrainians, it’s all as usual.”

Journalist Yanina Sokolova shared the photo and wrote: “Who are you trying to scare and break, [slur]?”

It turned out the beauty studio in the photo was Yeezy_salon on Antonovycha Street, located next to the site hit by two missiles. The studio described the aftermath of the strike on its Instagram page.

“Two missiles. The very center of the city… Our salon in Chicago was damaged in the massive enemy attack on the capital. Windows were blown out and glass surfaces were damaged in the salon. But thanks to our incredible team, the salon welcomed visitors again just 30 minutes later! We’re waiting for all our clients,” the salon owners wrote in a post around 10 a.m., sharing photos of the damage.
