A fire in the Brovary district, Kyiv Oblast, that broke out as a result of a Russian attack on Sept. 25 and burned for nearly a day because of repeated air raid alerts has been extinguished, the State Emergency Service reported, publishing a series of photos from the scene.

According to the statement, Russian forces first attempted to attack the facility overnight into Sept. 25 — it was damaged at that time, but no fire broke out. During the day on Sept. 25, Russian forces struck the same warehouse again, causing a large fire.

"Extinguishing it took nearly a full day and was complicated by numerous air raid alerts. Because of the threat to their lives, firefighters were forced to periodically withdraw to a safe distance, then return to work once the all-clear sounded," SES said.
