Lukashenko said Belarus would be drawn into the Russo–Ukrainian war only “if aggression is carried out on our territory.”
“We are not going to be drawn into the war in Ukraine; there is no need for that — neither civil nor military,” he said.
He also said he was ready to meet Zelenskyy “in any location — Ukraine, Belarus — to discuss Belarus-Ukraine relations and possibly talk about prospects.” Lukashenko added that he has things to discuss with Americans, Germans, Poles, Lithuanians, and Latvians, but “for some reason” not with Ukraine, BelTA reported.
