She failed to declare a non-residential property and two parking spaces. In addition, the woman owned two cars — a Hummer H2 and a Mercedes-Benz GLS — but their presence was not reflected in the declaration, the Lviv regional prosecutor’s office said.
The lawmaker is suspected of entering false information in her declaration. Investigators say she failed to disclose assets worth nearly 3.2 million hryvnias in the document. As a result, law enforcement officials notified her of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of Ukraine’s Criminal Code — declaring false information.
Authorities have not officially disclosed the name of the suspect. However, according to the outlet ZAXID.NET, the case concerns Nataliia Servatiak, a deputy of the Lviv District Council from the Servant of the People faction.
On March 12, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted investigative actions in one of the departments of the Lviv City Council. The searches may be related to the reservation of military-liable men, the city council said.
The SBU press service in the Lviv region confirmed to the Interfax-Ukraine news agency that searches were carried out in certain premises of the Lviv City Council and a municipal enterprise subordinate to it. Authorities are checking information about possible illegal activities by some officials as part of criminal proceedings under Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code (obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations), the SBU said.
