The program was created for veterans who sustained injuries during military action, as well as those recovering from trauma.
The training program covers six categories of physical abilities. Each includes exercises selected by professional adaptive sports trainers to ensure maximum safety and effectiveness. Veterans from the Invictus Games community who have real experience recovering through sports participated in the training videos.
Users are offered daily workouts that can be done anywhere with whatever equipment is available. The adaptive training program is free of charge.
“At MadMuscles, we believe that sport has no limits. It supports both physical and psychological well-being. That’s why we decided to create a program that enables everyone to return to activity, find strength and confidence in themselves despite any life challenges.
We worked with coaches and instructors experienced in adaptive sports, as our priority is safety and training effectiveness. In addition, we’ve prepared truly inspiring videos with incredible Invictus Games participants who, I’m sure, will motivate many to achieve both small and big goals,” said the project’s Chief Product Officer, Natalia Pastushok.
