Nearly 58% of Ukrainians are in favor of Ukraine’s ongoing military operation in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, according to survey published by the Razumkov Center on Oct. 15.

Participants were asked about their opinions of the operation that began in early August. They were asked how they feel about Ukrainian military personnel conducting operations not only on Ukrainian soil but also in Russia. Among those surveyed, 57.6% viewed this positively, 19.6% negatively, 7% were indifferent, and 15.8% could not provide an answer.

Of the respondents who believe in Ukraine's victory in the war, 65% are in favor of continuing the Kursk operation, with 15% opposed.

Conversely, those who do not have confidence in a Ukrainian victory were more likely to disapprove: 22% supported the operation, while 50% opposed it.

The survey also singled out a group of respondents who would consider Ukraine to be victorious in the war even if Russia ends up in control of the territories it illegally occupied. In this group, 29% approved of military action in Russian territory, while 47% disapproved.
