"Thank you to the rescuers, law enforcement, medics, utility workers, volunteers, and everyone who worked at the site of this tragedy for all these hours, helping the injured and clearing the rubble," Kozytskyy wrote. “Eternal memory to the victim. A speedy recovery to the injured.”
As of July 31, the number of people injured in the strike stood at 38, with one death — a 35-year-old man. The toll had previously stood at 34 injured and one dead. Ukraine's State Emergency Service had said up to two more people might be under the rubble.
July 30 missile attack on Lviv
Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine overnight into July 30, using 358 aerial weapons — 74 missiles and 284 drones.
Russian forces fired 22 cruise missiles at Lviv, Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said. The strike damaged two multi-story apartment buildings, including a direct hit on a five-story building. Other buildings, a school and a kindergarten were also damaged.
