Missing 11-year-old girl found alive in Lviv Oblast after extensive search

An 11-year-old girl, Solomiya Veklych, who disappeared seven days ago on July 20, was found alive in a forest in Lviv Oblast, the National Police press center reported on July 27.
Law enforcement officers found the girl near the town of
Rava-Ruska, six kilometers from her home. She is exhausted, but there is no
threat to her life, police say.
The State Emergency Service added that the girl was found
unconscious and handed her over to doctors.
The search operation lasted almost seven days. Solomiya’s
mother reported her daughter missing on July 20: she left home and never
returned. More than 600 people, including dog handlers and volunteers, were
involved in the search, the National Police said.
