Six canine search teams have been deployed to the site, he
said.
More than 30 people were injured at the site, Klymenko said.
Rescuers pulled 28 people from the destroyed building. Psychologists from the
State Emergency Service and police are working at the scene, speaking with
victims and supporting relatives of the dead and the missing.
Investigators have registered more than 100 property damage
reports.
Klymenko also said 28 people had been injured in Russia’s
morning strike on Kharkiv.
“The threat of Russian strikes may persist, so follow
official updates and stay in shelters during air raid alerts,” the minister
wrote.
Massive missile attack on Kyiv and regions on May 14
Russia launched a massive overnight and morning attack on
Kyiv on May 14 with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and Shahed drones. A
section of an apartment building was destroyed in the Darnytskyi district, with
people trapped under the rubble, the Kyiv City Military Administration
reported.
Seven people were injured in Kyiv Oblast, including a
3-year-old child. Apartment buildings, private homes and businesses were
damaged in six districts.
Explosions were also reported overnight in Kharkiv,
Zaporizhzhya and Khmelnytskyi Oblast.
Russia attacked Ukraine overnight with 731 aerial targets,
launching 56 missiles and 675 drones, Ukraine’s Air Force said. Spokesman Yuriy
Ihnat said the strike was one of the largest since the start of Russia’s
full-scale invasion.
During the day on May 13, Russia launched a large-scale
attack on Ukraine with 753 drones. The country’s western regions were the main
target.
