A mother and three minor children died in a house fire in the village of Vebrivtsi, Shepetivka district of Khmelnytskyi Oblast, that broke out late on March 4, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reported.
Emergency responders extinguished the blaze over an area of 100 square meters. During firefighting operations they discovered the bodies of a mother born in 1980, her son born in 2019 and two girls born in 2020 and 2022.

A girl born in 2018 escaped the flames. Law enforcement is investigating the circumstances, according to the rescuers.
