In the video provided by the reader, a person resembling MP
Dmytruk is seen talking to a store clerk in an electronics shop at Westfield
London, a shopping center located in one of London’s western districts, on
Sept. 1.
The footage later shows a man resembling Dmytruk conversing
with a dark-haired woman holding a small girl. Journalists speculate that the
woman might be Dmytruk's wife, Anastasia, and their daughter, Varvara.
Anastasia Dmytruk last posted an Instagram story from London
about a month and a half ago, showing her visit to the Victoria and Albert
Museum with her daughter.
MP Dmytruk’s escape from Ukraine: Key facts
On Aug. 25, NV’s sister publication Ukrainska Pravda, citing
sources, reported that MP Artem Dmytruk had illegally crossed the border.
Initially, he traveled to Moldova and then to Italy.
On the same day, the Prosecutor General’s Office announced
that the lawmaker had been charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer
and a serviceman.
Later, the DBR reported that, under the procedural guidance
of the Prosecutor General’s Office, a criminal case was opened regarding the
illegal border crossing by the sitting lawmaker.
On Aug. 26, DBR Communications Adviser Tetyana Sapyan
confirmed that lawmaker Artem Dmytruk had indeed crossed the border illegally.
On Aug. 29, the DBR placed Dmytruk on an international wanted
list.
That same day, the Pecherskyi District Court in Kyiv imposed a preventive
measure on Dmytruk in absentia, in the form of detention, to be enforced
once he is returned to Ukraine.
On Sept. 2, SBI officials announced that three individuals
were suspected of illegally aiding the MP, accused of attacking Ukrainian
citizens, in crossing the state border into Transnistria.
According to the investigation, around 9 p.m. on Aug. 23,
the suspects transported Dmytruk to the border with Moldova, after which he illegally
left Ukraine on foot.
