Mykolaiv will see reduced bus service on city routes due to
driver conscriptions, Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych announced at a briefing on May 22.
"At the last meeting with the director of our enterprise, I received information that we have mobilized additional drivers who were working and that starting next week, minus two buses will be running on the routes," said the official.
The buses will remain parked, but there is no one to drive them.
"People are working in shifts," he added.
39 trolleybuses, 27 trams, and 22 buses were running in Mykolaiv on May 21, Senkevych said.
"There will be minus two, that is, minus 10% of the buses," the mayor said.
