Air defense shot down all 30 Russia-launched Shahed drones overnight, Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported on Telegram on Aug. 7.
Drones were launched from Russia's Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Yeysk.
All drones were shot down in Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Cherkasy oblasts, Oleshchuk said.
An air raid alert was issued across Ukraine at night due to the drone and ballistic missiles threats.
Russian drones flew to Ternopil Oblast, the Air Force reported.
The Air Defense operated in Kyiv Oblast.
The drones debris damaged the storage tanks and the premises at a production enterprise in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, its Oblast Military Administration reported.
