A poll of 626 respondents offered four answer options to the question: “Magyar has won — what do you expect from Hungary next?”
Some 7% said that “all problems are now behind us and there will be friendship between Ukraine and Hungary.”
Meanwhile, 69% believe Hungary will unblock €90 billion in EU assistance for Ukraine.
Another 24% said Hungary would, within a week, demand that Ukraine reopen a Russian oil pipeline.
Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on April 12. With 98.32% of votes counted, Tisza is leading. Péter Magyar’s party is expected to secure 138 seats in parliament, Fidesz 55 seats, and Our Homeland 6.
The poll results are not representative of the Ukrainian population as a whole.
