The Russian military attacked Odesa with a ballistic missile
carrying a cluster warhead on May 31.
According to Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper, two people were injured.
“In the evening, the enemy attacked Odesa,” Kiper said in a Telegram post.
“Preliminary reports indicate the use of a ballistic missile with cluster munition. The Russian terrorists targeted port infrastructure.”
Kiper specified that the injured are a 28-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man, both of whom sustained shrapnel wounds.
The injured individuals were hospitalized in moderate condition and are receiving all necessary medical care.
The explosion occurred around 7:30 p.m.
