The agreement covers the ports, “including Odesa,” he wrote, adding that Russia claimed March 18 as the alleged start of the ceasefire in order to remain consistent in lies and propaganda.
"Moscow is a city built on lies, no one in Ukraine is surprised. For example, in their statement after the meetings in Riyadh, the Russians said that the alleged ceasefire on energy facilities has been in effect since March 18. Why March 18? Because that was when they put forward a frankly false story that Putin had allegedly ordered a halt to strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
Since March 18, there have been eight confirmed strikes on energy facilities using bombs, attack drones, and FPV drones.
"The Russians lie even when the truth is obvious. It's just a lie for the sake of a lie. Everything the Russians say or promise needs to be double-checked, and the responsibility for verifying their claims lies with Ukraine's partners."
From March 23 to 25, several rounds of U.S.-Ukraine and U.S.-Russia talks took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On March 25, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said that through U.S. mediation, Kyiv and Moscow had agreed to forego the use of military force in the Black Sea.
