One dead, eight injured in Russian air strike on Odesa

Russia attacked Odesa with drones and missiles, killing a civilian and injuring at least eight others, local officials reported on Nov. 14.

According to Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper, the attack damaged an apartment building in the city, resulting in civilian casualties.

Other enemy missiles and drones damaged a heat pipeline, forcing one of Odesa boiler stations into an emergency shutdown, city Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov later said.

When the initial air raid alert was sounded at 9:40 p.m., the Ukrainian Air Force reported that four drones and an unspecified number of Russian missiles were inbound, targeting Odesa.
