Rescuers show damage from Russian drone attack on Sumy Oblast — video

One person was killed and five others, including two children aged two and five, were injured in a Russian Shahed drone attack on the Trostianets community in Sumy Oblast, regional authorities said on Nov. 3.

A 52-year-old man was killed. According to the State Emergency Service (SES), his body was recovered from the rubble of a two-story residential building that caught fire.

On the evening of Nov. 2, Russian invaders also launched a missile strike on a village in the Boromlia community, damaging an infrastructure facility and several residential houses. One of the homes caught fire.

In total, according to the SES, seven people were injured in two Russian attacks on Sumy Oblast, including two children.

Earlier on Nov. 3, Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia attacked overnight with 12 missiles, including three Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, and 138 drones. Air defenses shot down one Kinzhal and 115 drones.

In Dnipro, a fire broke out at an industrial facility following a missile strike. Russian forces also attacked Mykolaiv and Oblast with drones, causing fires and damaging energy infrastructure.
