Volgograd hit by overnight missile strikes as large fires erupt across the city

Volgograd Regional Governor Andrey Bocharov stated that “debris” landed at an industrial site in the southern part of the city. He added that the attack also damaged an apartment building in the city’s Krasnoarmeysky district.

Local monitoring channels confirmed multiple fires broke out across Volgograd following the missile strikes.

A drone strike targeted Russia’s Saratov that same night, sparking a fire at an oil facility and a warehouse owned by Ozon, Russia’s largest e-commerce company.

Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo missiles struck the Titan-Barrikady defense plant in Volgograd, Russia, on June 27, inflicting severe structural damage on at least two key buildings.

Titan-Barrikady is one of Russia’s largest defense-industrial enterprises. The facility produces launchers, artillery systems, and components for Iskander-M, Yars, and Topol-M missile systems.
