At the MSPO 2025 arms fair in Poland, Ukroboronprom, Ukraine’s state defense conglomerate, disclosed technical specifications of its Palianytsia drone missile, Ukrainian outlet Defense Express reported on Sept. 2.

Although the missile was first presented in August 2024, its performance data remained classified until now. Ukroboronprom says the Palianytsia weighs 320 kilograms, including a 100-kg warhead, and has a maximum range of 650 km, covering the bulk of Russian military targets beyond the frontline. Its flight altitude varies between 15 and 500 meters.

Navigation and targeting rely on GPS and an inertial guidance system. A solid-fuel booster gives the missile initial thrust before a jet engine takes over. Its top speed is 900 km/h, a velocity analysts compared to that of Russia’s Kh-101 cruise missile.

The Palianytsia measures 3.5 meters long and has a wingspan of 1.7 meters. Defense Express noted that, compared with earlier renders, the wing shape has been revised, while the fuselage and tail assembly remain unchanged.

There is no confirmed evidence of combat use, photos, or debris linked to Palianytsia . Still, some experts have speculated that this missile was responsible for destroying an ammunition depot in Toropets, Russia, in September 2024.
