"Due to a lack of fighters, the brigade command is forced to disband evacuation squads, creating additional assault groups," the Atesh message said.
As a result, evacuation of wounded Russian soldiers is practically not happening, and "many are dying from blood loss and hypothermia."
Atesh agents also report that, as before, attacks and advances are the priority, with everything else, including supplies and rescue of wounded soldiers, handled on a residual basis.
"The situation causes serious tension and fear among the personnel," the partisans stated.
On Nov. 10, the 7th Air Assault Corps said that Russian forces had increased attacks on Pokrovsk last week. Currently, the elimination of enemy troops in the northern part of the city continues. The most intense fighting is occurring in the industrial zone.
Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi said in a Nov. 10 interview with The New York Post that near Pokrovsk, Russian troops are conducting a large-scale offensive operation and massing significant forces to break through Ukraine's line of defense.
According to him, Russia's goal is to encircle Pokrovsk and nearby cities from the north, south, and east, cut supply lines, and force the evacuation of remaining civilians to then execute a "final gambit" to capture all of Donetsk Oblast.
