Called Ukraine Oversight, the website was launched in coordination with the State Department's Office of the Inspector General and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Pentagon statement said that the resource includes information on the activities of more than 20 oversight agencies in the United States, known as the Interagency Working Group on Ukraine Oversight. Their purpose is to assure that U.S. aid to Ukraine is applied appropriately.
Additionally, the website offers contact details for reporting any suspicions of fraud, waste, or misuse concerning the aid to Ukraine.
Diana Shaw, the acting Inspector General for the U.S. State Department, said that “Ukraine Oversight is our top priority," describing the website as a new tool that "keeps American taxpayers updated" on how their money is used to help Kyiv defend against Russia’s invasion.
