Kharkiv photo report: 5 wounded, dozens of homes damaged in three Russian attacks

Kharkiv endured three strikes from Russia, causing damage to energy facilities, residential buildings, and infrastructure, resulting in five civilians being injured, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported on Telegram on April 7.

After nighttime massive attack on the power system, emergency power outages are in effect in the city.

On the afternoon of April 7, the occupiers attacked Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv with unified interspecies planning munitions.

At least 13 high-rise buildings and private houses, educational institutions, cafes, a hostel, a hotel, cars, garages, etc. were damaged.

First Deputy Head of Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshytskyi said that Russians hit center of Kharkiv twice. One more hit was recorded near the central park, where people were resting on a weekends.

State Emergency Service said that rescuers promptly eliminated the consequences of enemy strikes in the center of Kharkiv, where several fires broke out.

Police is documenting aftermath of the city attack, which left a 45-year-old man with shrapnel wounds. Four more women sought medical attention due to an acute stress reaction.

Amid the systematic attacks on one of Ukraine's biggest cities, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after a conversation with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi and Defense Minister Rustem Umerov that Ukraine is preparing a "very specific and fair" response to the enemy.
