“I believe this is the sound of Russian disinformation,” Polish outlet Polsat quoted Gawkowski.
“In my opinion, all directions pointing to problems with Nord Stream lead back to Moscow.”
The official added that "his words are not speculation, but fact," and Poland denies any involvement in the sabotage.
Earlier, former head of Germany's foreign intelligence, August Hanning, claimed in an interview with Die Welt that there was supposedly an “agreement” between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Polish President Andrzej Duda to sabotage the Nord Stream pipelines.
The Wall Street Journal recently published an article alleging that Zelenskyy verbally approved a plan to sabotage the Nord Stream pipelines in 2022. After the CIA intervened to stop the operation, the Ukrainian president reportedly ordered to abort it, but by that point it was too late to call it off.
