A missile attack targeted Belgorod overnight into Feb. 7, causing power outages, water supply disruptions, internet and mobile connection problems, and injuries to four people, according to Belgorod Oblast Gov. Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Four people were wounded “on the territory of an infrastructure facility” that sustained damage. Windows were shattered in a nearby building, glazing was broken in one apartment of a multi-story residential building and in four private homes, and shrapnel damaged 11 vehicles.

As of noon local time, water supply interruptions continued in the Belgorod district.

The latest attack follows explosions in Belgorod on the evening of Feb. 5 that led to outages of electricity, heating and water; Gladkov also described that incident as a missile attack. Overnight into Feb. 2, explosions were heard in Belgorod Oblast, with local Telegram channels reporting drone attacks and air defense activity.
