“Again the same Shaheds, and again attempts to hit the city's infrastructure and residential buildings,” said Popkov.
“One of the Russian drones caused havoc in Solomyanskyi district of Kyiv. A fire broke out on the upper floors of multi-story residential building, and three apartments suffered partial wall collapse, while another three had their windows shattered. Preliminary data indicates two injured with soft tissue bruises and lacerations, one of whom has been hospitalized.”
Additionally, a fire broke out in a two-story house due to falling debris In the Darnytskyi district, according to Popkov. There were no casualties.
A fragment also fell in the Holosiivskyi district, causing no destruction or injuries. Popkov added that this information is being updated and clarified.
“We will rebuild the damaged buildings,” stated Popkov.
“But lives cannot be restored. Therefore, the most important thing is that Kyiv survived this attack without fatalities. Take care of yourselves and believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine!”
Four air raid alerts were announced in Ukraine due to the takeoff of MiG-31K fighter jets on Dec. 14. Ukraine’s Air Force reported the launch of X-47 Kinzhal missiles towards Kyiv, Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi Oblast, and Sumy Oblast. Explosions were heard in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
