In criminal act, Russia attacks Nova Hnylytsia with cluster munitions

At least one person was injured after Russian forces struck the village of Nova Hnylytsia in Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast with cluster munitions, Regional Military Administration head, Oleh Synehubov, reported on Telegram on Sep. 6.
A 50-year-old local resident suffered shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized in moderate condition. A private house was also damaged.
Russian forces have been systematically shelling Kharkiv Oblast. Mandatory evacuations are taking place in border areas with Russia and the occupied territories.
Russia is finalizing the preparation of assault groups and are shelling Ukrainian positions daily with artillery and mortars near Kupyansk, the Ukrainian Ground Forces Commander Colonel General, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said on Sep. 6.
The Ukrainian army remains on the defensive.
