Russian special services blackmailed the suspect in the murder of former Ukrainian Parliament Speaker Andriy Parubiy throughout the year with information about the location of his son's body, who was killed in the war, Channel 5 reported on Sep. 1, citing own sources.
“Russian special services blackmailed the suspect for a year with information about the whereabouts of his son, who is considered missing in action,” a source said, without providing any other details.
Earlier that day, Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko reported that the suspect in the Parubiy's murder was tracked down and detained 36 hours after the assassination.
