A train carrying at least ten Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile systems has arrived in Belarus, local monitoring group Belarusian Hajun said in a Telegram post on Aug. 30.

According to the report, the train arrived at the Osipovichi station in Mogilev Oblast, having departed from Russia’s Astrakhan Oblast.

The group also notes that a missile testing range — the 4th Central Testing Range of Russia — is located there.

Moreover, the Belarusian Hajun reports that some Iskander-M missile systems have already been supplied to the Belarusian army, and this convoy is not the last to arrive in the country.

On July 28, the Federation of American Scientists (FAS) stated that in the Belarusian city of Osipovichi, local military had finished building a hangar for the placement of the Iskander missile launchers, which can carry nuclear warheads.

Earlier, the monitoring group reported that military personnel from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan arrived in Belarus on a Russian Il-76 MD plane, presumably to participate in joint military exercises.
