Russia has been handed the "key parameters" of a peace plan agreed upon by U.S. and Ukrainian delegations during negotiations in Geneva, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Nov. 28, according to news agency Interfax.

Moscow will review the plan's points next week.

The United States and Ukraine held talks in Geneva on Nov. 23 on a peace plan to end the war. A joint statement said the delegations prepared an updated framework document on peace settlement.

The Financial Times reported on Nov. 24, citing sources familiar with the discussions, that the U.S.-backed peace plan was shortened from 28 to 19 points after the Geneva talks between Ukrainian and American delegations.

Presidential Office head Andriy Yermak said on Nov. 25 that U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll would arrive in Kyiv this week to "finalize next steps on the peace plan."

Reuters reported on Nov. 26 that the 28-point U.S. peace plan for Ukraine was based on a document prepared by Russia. According to three sources, Moscow sent the draft to high-level U.S. officials in October after President Donald Trump's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Washington.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Nov. 27 that the U.S. 28-point peace plan could serve as a basis for "future war settlement." According to Putin, the United States has "demonstrated willingness to take Russian interests into account."
