“Russia does not have enough resources or reserves to launch an enormous, large-scale strategic offensive,” Rakhmanin said.
“They are vulnerable to Ukrainian unmanned aerial operations, especially in terms of personnel and the equipment.”
He added that Russian forces continue adapting to battlefield conditions but remain exposed to Ukrainian drone strikes, particularly in open terrain.
At the same time, the enemy continues pressing on multiple fronts and tries to breach defenses wherever weak spots are identified.
“Once Ukrainian defenses contain a threat, they shift pressure elsewhere,” the MP said.
“That’s why many do not get the impression that an offensive is underway. It isn’t like in our imagination—planes taking off and thousands of tanks rolling out to break through the front. Massive operations involving huge columns of armored vehicles are a thing of the past.”
According to Rakhmanin, Moscow remains intent on capturing the entire Donetsk Oblast.
