Russia launches 160 drones at Ukraine, 20 strikes reported

Russia launched 160 attack drones overnight, targeting Ukraine, including about 100 Shahed UAVs, the Air Force said on Apr. 11.

Ukraine’s air defenses downed 133 Russian drones over the north, south and east of the country. The attack resulted in 20 strike UAV hits at 10 locations, as well as debris from downed targets falling at 11 locations.

Ukraine’s Air Force warned that the Russian attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still detected in Ukrainian airspace as of 8 a.m.

Overnight, Russia struck Odesa with Shahed drones, damaging dozens of buildings, killing two people and injuring two others.

Late in the evening on April 10, Russian drones hit two apartment buildings in Sumy, wounding 17 people.

In Poltava Oblast, debris from an enemy UAV damaged a shop and a café overnight, killing one person.
