Russia hits Izium with glide bombs, launches massive jet-powered Shahed attack on Sumy

6:39 a.m. The Air Force updated information on drone movements:

• A group of drones from Kherson Oblast was heading toward Mykolaiv.

• A drone in northern Chernihiv Oblast was heading toward Horodnia.

• A jet-powered drone from the Black Sea was heading toward Odesa Oblast, in the direction of Zatoka and Chornomorske.

• Drones in eastern Kharkiv Oblast were heading toward Prykolotne and Staryi Saltiv.

6:14 a.m. The Air Force reported the following drone movements:

• A group of jet-powered drones from the Black Sea was heading toward southern Odesa Oblast, in the direction of Balabanivka and Tatarbunary.

• A drone from Russia’s Bryansk Oblast was heading toward Chernihiv Oblast, in the direction of Horodnia.

• A drone was heading toward Mykolaiv from the south.

The Air Force also reported the launch of guided aerial bombs toward Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

6:05 a.m. The Air Force reported drones, guided aerial bombs and a missile heading toward Zaporizhzhia.

5:39 a.m. The Air Force updated information on Shahed drone movements:

• A drone was heading toward Kharkiv from the north.

• A drone from Donetsk Oblast was heading toward Kharkiv Oblast, in the direction of Lozova.

• A drone from Donetsk Oblast was heading toward Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, in the direction of Pavlohrad.

5:08 a.m. The Air Force reported the following drone movements:

• A jet-powered drone was flying from Kharkiv Oblast toward Poltava Oblast, in the direction of Dykanka and Poltava.

• A drone was flying from Kherson Oblast toward Mykolaiv Oblast, in the direction of Snihurivka.

4:36 a.m. The Air Force reported the following drone movements:

• A jet-powered drone in southern Kharkiv Oblast was heading toward Lozova.

• A jet-powered drone in northern Kharkiv Oblast was heading toward Bohodukhiv.

• Several drones in Odesa Oblast were heading toward Zatoka and Artsyz.

4:02 a.m. The Air Force updated information on drone movements:

• A group of drones from the Black Sea was heading toward southern Odesa Oblast, in the direction of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi.

• A drone in northern Chernihiv Oblast was heading toward Snovsk.

• A drone in southern Kharkiv Oblast was heading toward Slobozhanske.

3:20 a.m. A group of drones was flying from Kherson Oblast toward Mykolaiv Oblast, in the direction of Snihurivka and Bereznehuvate, the Air Force said.

3:14 a.m. The Air Force reported the following drone movements:

• A drone from Russia’s Bryansk Oblast was flying into northern Chernihiv Oblast along the Belarusian border, heading west.

• A drone was heading toward Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Maiaky.

The Air Force also reported launches of guided aerial bombs toward Donetsk Oblast and northern Kharkiv Oblast.

2:24 a.m. A drone in Kharkiv Oblast was heading toward Rohan, the Air Force said.

1:41 a.m. New groups of drones from the Black Sea were heading toward Odesa Oblast, including Zatoka, Serhiivka and Chornomorsk, the Air Force said.

12:50 a.m. Russian forces launched a large-scale drone attack on Sumy, the regional military administration said.

Strikes were recorded in residential areas and at civilian infrastructure facilities, sparking large fires.

Information on casualties was being determined.

12:22 a.m. More drones were heading toward Sumy, the Air Force said.

12:09 a.m. The Air Force reported the following drone movements:

• New groups of drones from the Black Sea were heading toward Odesa Oblast, including Zatoka and Serhiivka.

• A drone was heading toward Kharkiv.

11:17 p.m. A series of explosions was heard in Sumy, Suspilne reported.

11:14 p.m. Several drones were heading toward Sumy, the Air Force said.

11:07 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in the Pryluky district of Chernihiv Oblast.

11 p.m. At about 9:38 p.m., Russian forces attacked Izium with two guided aerial bombs, injuring four people, the Izium City Military Administration said. The strikes hit near the city center and in the northwestern part of the city, damaging windows and roofs of several private homes.

10:58 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in the Chernihiv district.

10:55 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in the Myrhorod district of Poltava Oblast.

10:47 p.m. The air raid alert was lifted in the Nizhyn district of Chernihiv Oblast. An air raid alert was declared in the Beryslav district of Kherson Oblast.

10:45 p.m. Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia district, striking near a gas station, Zaporizhzhia regional Gov. Ivan Fedorov said. The strike damaged a building and equipment and injured a 33-year-old man.

10:28 p.m. Russian forces launched guided aerial bombs toward Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, the Air Force said. Shahed drones were also flying toward Zaporizhzhia from the south, while a group of Shaheds from the Black Sea was heading toward Chornomorske and Zatoka in Odesa Oblast. Air raid alerts were declared in the Izmail, Bolhrad, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Odesa districts of Odesa Oblast, as well as across Sumy Oblast. The alert was lifted in the Chernihiv district.

10:08 p.m. Air raid alerts were declared across Kharkiv Oblast and in the Okhtyrka district of Sumy Oblast. The Air Force said a group of jet-powered Shahed drones in Kharkiv Oblast was flying from the north toward Slobozhanske and Berestyn.

9:58 p.m. The air raid alert was lifted in Odesa Oblast. An air raid alert was declared across Kharkiv Oblast.

9:53 p.m. Air raid alerts were declared in the Berestyn and Bohodukhiv districts of Kharkiv Oblast.

9:50 p.m. Air raid alerts were declared in the Chernihiv and Poltava districts. The Air Force said a jet-powered Shahed that had been heading toward Krolevets in Sumy Oblast had entered Chernihiv Oblast and was flying toward Borzna.

9:44 p.m. Air raid alerts were lifted in all districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast except Synelnykove, as well as in Mykolaiv Oblast. Alerts were declared in the Konotop district of Sumy Oblast; the Nizhyn and Koriukivka districts of Chernihiv Oblast; and the Bolhrad, Izmail, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi and Odesa districts of Odesa Oblast.

The Air Force also reported that:

• A jet-powered Shahed in Sumy Oblast was heading toward Krolevets.

• Russian forces launched guided aerial bombs toward Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

• A jet-powered Shahed from the Black Sea was heading toward Zatoka and Chornomorsk in Odesa Oblast.

9:12 p.m. Air raid alerts were declared in the Dnipro and Kamianske districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the Kherson district. The alert was lifted in the Koriukivka district of Chernihiv Oblast.

The Air Force said:

• Shahed drones were heading toward Kherson from the east.

• Russian forces attacked Kherson with guided aerial bombs.

• Russian forces attacked Donetsk Oblast and eastern Kharkiv Oblast with guided aerial bombs.

8:59 p.m. Air raid alerts were declared in the Kryvyi Rih, Nikopol and Pavlohrad districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the Izium, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts of Kharkiv Oblast.

The Air Force said:

• Shahed drones from Donetsk Oblast were heading toward Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast.

• Shahed drones in eastern Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were heading toward Synelnykove.

• Shahed drones were heading toward Zaporizhzhia from the south.

• A jet-powered Shahed was flying from Zaporizhzhia Oblast toward Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

• A missile was heading toward northern Kharkiv Oblast.

8:40 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in the Mykolaiv district.

8:38 p.m. Russian forces launched guided aerial bombs toward Donetsk Oblast, the Air Force said.

8:22 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in the Synelnykove district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The Air Force said:

• Russian forces launched guided aerial bombs toward northern Sumy Oblast.

• Shahed drones were heading toward Kharkiv from the north.

• Shahed drones in eastern Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were heading toward Pavlohrad.

• Russian forces launched guided aerial bombs toward eastern Sumy Oblast.

8:15 p.m. A strike in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district hit a road, Mayor Ihor Terekhov said. He said there were no reports of casualties at the time.

8:13 p.m. Shahed drones were heading toward Sumy from the north, the Air Force said.

8:12 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

8:09 p.m. An air raid alert was declared in the Shostka district of Sumy Oblast.

8:06 p.m. A Russian attack drone struck Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district, Kharkiv regional Gov. Oleh Syniehubov said. He said there were no reports of casualties and details were still being determined.

8:01 p.m. Air raid alerts were declared in Donetsk Oblast and the Kharkiv and Lozova districts of Kharkiv Oblast. The alert was lifted in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast.

The Air Force said Russian forces had launched guided aerial bombs toward northern Kharkiv Oblast and that Shahed drones from Donetsk Oblast were heading toward Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast.

7:27 p.m. Shahed drones in northern Chernihiv Oblast were heading toward Snovsk and Horodnia, the Air Force said.

At 5:03 p.m., the Air Force said Shahed drones from Russia’s Kursk Oblast were heading toward northern Sumy Oblast, in the direction of Hlukhiv and Krolevets. At 5:09 p.m., it said Russian forces had launched guided aerial bombs toward Donetsk Oblast. At 5:27 p.m., it reported that a jet-powered Shahed from Sumy Oblast was heading toward Kolomak in Kharkiv Oblast.

At 5:29 p.m., the Air Force said a jet-powered Shahed was flying from the east toward northern Kherson Oblast, in the direction of Arkhanhelske. At 5:32 p.m., it said the drone was heading toward Kryvyi Rih in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

At 5:39 p.m., the Air Force said new jet-powered Shaheds from Kherson Oblast were heading toward Kryvyi Rih. At 6:14 p.m., it said Shaheds in eastern Kharkiv Oblast were heading toward Chuhuiv, while a group of Shaheds from Donetsk Oblast was heading toward Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast.

At 6:22 p.m., the Air Force warned that Shaheds in northern Chernihiv Oblast were heading toward Kholmy, while drones in Mykolaiv Oblast were heading toward Voznesensk.

At 6:34 p.m., Dnipropetrovsk regional Gov. Oleksandr Hanzha said a Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih killed one person, sparked a fire and damaged transportation infrastructure.

At 6:44 p.m., the Air Force reported another jet-powered Shahed heading toward Kryvyi Rih, this time from Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as Shahed drones heading toward Sumy from the north.

At 6:58 p.m., the Air Force again reported Shahed drones heading toward Sumy from the north.

As of 7:13 p.m., air raid alerts were in effect in the Koriukivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi districts of Chernihiv Oblast, the Sumy district of Sumy Oblast and the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast.
