Moscow and its suburbs were attacked by drones for the second night in a row, Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported on Telegram late on Oct. 27.
Two drones were allegedly shot down on the outskirts of the Russian capital.
Emergency services are at the sites where the drone debris fell.
Loud explosions were heard in Serpukhov, a city south of Moscow, as well as in the Ramenskoye and Bronnitsy suburbs.
Zhukovsky Airport was temporarily closed overnight.
Earlier in the day, the country’s Defense Ministry claimed that Russian air defenses had shot down 193 Ukrainian drones during the previous night's attack, including at least 34 that were approaching Moscow.
