Russian artillery has struck the Antonov factory in Kyiv, the
municipal government said in a message on the Telegram messaging service on
March 14.
Antonov is a state-owned aerospace and defense concern, famous for producing the AN-225 Mriya aircraft, the largest in the world prior to its destruction by Russian shelling.
Earlier, Russians shells are reported to have damaged a residential high-rise in Kyiv’s Obolon district in the north of the city, partially destroying the building and setting several apartments on third and fourth floors ablaze.
At least two people are reported dead and three wounded as a result of the attack; search and rescue operations are ongoing at the site.
