Russia strikes Kramatorsk in daylight attack, killing one

Russia launched a daytime strike on Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast on Feb. 25, killing one person and injuring another, according to the Kramatorsk City Council.

Authorities are still determining the full circumstances, the exact number of casualties, and the extent of the damage.

Earlier, Ukraine’s Air Force reported that overnight on Feb. 25, Russia attacked Ukraine with 213 Shahed drones and various types of decoy drones, as well as launching seven Kh-101 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers. Air defenses shot down six Kh-101 cruise missiles and 133 Shahed drones and other types of UAVs.

On Feb. 13, Russian forces struck Kramatorsk, killing one person and injuring five others, including a 16-year-old girl.

On Feb. 9, Russian forces carried out eight airstrikes on Kostyantynivka using FAB-250 bombs with UMPK guidance kits. The attack damaged 127 structures.
