"This is a new serious threat for Odesa Oblast. Such strikes pose a colossal danger to people and can cause significant destruction," Kiper stated, urging locals not to ignore air raid alerts.
Earlier on Oct. 24, Ukraine's Air Force warned of "KAB in the Black Sea waters heading toward Pivdenne/Chornomorske."
On Oct. 16, Ukraine's Air Force reported that Russian aircraft carried out an airstrike on Mykolaiv using a Su-34 plane.
Meanwhile, monitoring Telegram channels claimed that Russia for the first time tested a modernized KAB with a 150 km range on the city of Mykolaiv.
On Oct. 17, Mykolaiv Oblast State Administration head Vitaliy Kim confirmed that on Oct. 16, the Russian military attacked the outskirts of Mykolaiv using two guided aerial bombs.
