After the overnight attack with dozens of drones, the enemy fired ballistic and cruise missiles, including Kalibr from Black Sea-based carriers and Kh-101 missiles from Tu-95MS strategic aircraft. The launch of a MiG-31K aircraft indicated the possible use of Kinzhal missiles.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko reported massive attack on energy facilities throughout the country. This forced the energy sector to introduce additional blackout schedules. Ukrenergo urged Ukrainians to follow the updated schedules posted on the websites of regional power companies.
Explosions were reported in Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa and other Ukrainian oblasts. Several waves of missiles flew toward the western regions of the country. A number of missiles have been shot down.
