Two children, a four-year-old girl and an infant, were injured in an overnight Russian strike on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, regional Governor Oleksandr Hanzha reported on Telegram on Feb. 12.
A series of explosions shook the city at around 3 a.m., shortly after Ukraine’s Air Force issued an air raid alert in response to ballistic missiles launches.
Residential houses and cars were damaged, and a fire broke out. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the air assault are ongoing.
Overnight, Russian forces carried out a combined drone and missile attack on Ukraine. Explosions, damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties were also reported in Kyiv, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhya.
