The Russian Federal Aviation Authority, Rosaviatsia, imposed temporary flight restrictions at Moscow’s Vnukovo International airport in response to an overnight drone attack, the Bazabazon Telegram channel reported on July 18, posting video of drones flying over the Dmitrovsky district.
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin claimed that air defenses had allegedly shot down at least four drones that were flying toward the Russian capital.
“Emergency services are at the site of the drone’s wreckage,” he wrote.
