A Russian morning airstrike on Odesa damaged municipal infrastructure, head of the city’s military administration Serhii Lysak reported on August 12.

Preliminary assessments indicate no casualties from the strike, though the resulting blast wave and shrapnel damaged a nearby residential building. Utility crews have already cleared debris from the site and repaired shattered windows.

Lysak emphasized that residents with damaged property can apply for financial aid through state and local compensation programs.

Russian missiles struck Odesa overnight on August 9, causing widespread destruction and fires across several of the city's districts.

The barrage ignited fires in a four-story residential building, nearby parked cars, and two private homes in central Odesa, injuring 13 people.
