Russians hit Sumy with drones damaging residential areas

The strikes damaged windows in residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. One administrative building was also damaged.
There were no reports of casualties so far.
"Russia continues to violate all norms of international humanitarian law by striking at places where civilians are," Hryhorov said.
He urged residents of Oblast not to ignore air raid warnings and to immediately seek shelter.
According to monitoring sites, Sumy was attacked by Molniya and Lancet UAVs.
The Air Force also reported that Russian invaders attacked Sumy Oblast with UAVs during the day.
On the night of June 16, Russian troops carried out a massive drone attack across Ukraine, with the main strike targeting Donetsk Oblast, according to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In total, the enemy deployed 138 Shahed attack drones and simulator UAVs of various modifications.
By 8 a.m., Ukrainian air defense forces had destroyed 125 aerial targets. Of these, 84 were shot down by conventional weapons, and another 41 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare.
