Dozens of window and balcony units were shattered at the hotels, while facades, interior premises and part of the room stock were damaged, according to ARS Capital.
Some areas suffered collapsed decorative elements, damaged ceilings, doors and engineering communications. Glass shards and facade fragments were scattered across the surrounding area, damaging guests’ vehicles, the company’s press service said.
No casualties were reported, as hotel guests and staff were in shelters at the time of the attack. Emergency response headquarters were set up at the hotels, inspections of rooms and common areas were carried out, and cleanup operations began after the strike.
A detailed damage assessment is ongoing. Preliminary information indicates the destruction is significant, with facades, window structures and parts of the interiors requiring restoration.
ARS Capital said the Hotel Ukraine continues operating as normally as possible given the security situation.
Russian forces struck the area around the Lukianivska metro station. The metro station was damaged, while a local market and the Kvadrat Shopping Mall shopping center were destroyed.
