Nine people were injured in Sumy during a Russian airstrike overnight, the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office reported on Aug. 30.
Updated at 9:40 a.m.: The Prosecutor General's Office reported that Russian forces targeted a packaging plant in Sumy, which produces baby food, juices, and household chemicals, in a pre-dawn strike on Aug. 30, sparking a fire.
Rescuers are working to extinguish it.

The Prosecutor's Office has opened criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war, which could result in up to 12 years in prison.
Earlier, the Sumy Regional Military Administration reported heavy smoke after the attack on the city's civilian infrastructure.
