Russian ballistic strike hits transport infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, child injured

Russian forces attacked the Kryvyi Rih district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, wounding five people, regional military administration head Oleksandr Hanzha said on March 2.

Updated at 3:00 p.m. Hanzha said that as a result of the Russian attack, one person was killed and seven were wounded.

According to him, the invaders hit transport infrastructure, triggering a fire.

Hanzha later said that the wounded include a 10-year-old girl, who will receive outpatient treatment. Four adults were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition.

Emergency services are working at the site of the strike.

At about 1:54 p.m., the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a ballistic missile threat and high-speed targets over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, including Pavlohrad and Samar.

Overnight into March 2, Russia attacked Kryvyi Rih with Shahed drones, significantly damaging an industrial facility.
