Cherkasy Oblast hit by Russian attack, resulting in one death and one injury

A woman born in 1961 was seriously injured in the Uman district and later died in the hospital.
A critical infrastructure facility was attacked in the Cherkasy district, while a Shahed drone targeted a private warehouse, causing a fire that has since been extinguished; one person was injured in that incident.
In Cherkasy's residential area, drone fragments damaged windows in a residential building and a school.
The head of the regional military administration reported that air defense forces had previously neutralized 41 Russian drones and two missiles.
Explosions were reported in Cherkasy and surrounding Oblast, prompting warnings from the Ukrainian Air Force about a potential UAV strike and missile attack.
Since nightfall, Russian troops have launched drone and missile attacks on Ukraine, deploying over 98 UAVs and six guided missiles, with air defense shooting down 42 drones and four missiles; another 46 drones were lost in location.
In Kyiv, a woman was injured during a drone attack, while Odesa faced rocket attacks that ignited residential fires.
Additionally, energy facilities in the Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts were damaged in the strikes, leading to emergency power outages, according to Ukrenergo.
