Six killed in Donetsk attacks, UN confirms 79 Ukrainian POW executions

Russian attacks on Chasiv Yar and Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast have killed at least six people, Donetsk regional military administration head Vadym Filashkin said on Feb. 3.

Active fighting continues in Chasiv Yar, where five people, aged 32 to 66, were killed by Russian shelling, with their bodies discovered on Feb. 3.

The same day, a 62-year-old man died in Pokrovsk, while a person was injured in Rubtsy, Lymansk community.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces shelled Donetsk region eight times. In Pokrovsk district, shelling killed one person in Myrnohrad, damaged four homes, and injured three in Shevchenko, Dobropil community.

Two people were injured in Sribne, Pokrovsk community, and eight homes were damaged in Rodynske.

In Kramatorsk district, Russian shelling caused damage to houses in Novoselivka, Lyman community, and to a house and gas pipeline in Kostyantynivka.

Five homes were damaged in Fedorivka, while Mykolaivka saw damage to a house and an administrative building.

In Bakhmut district, 10 homes were damaged in Siversk.
