The missiles were launched from Russia’s Rostov, Voronezh and Bryansk oblasts, while the drones — including Shahed types (jet-powered included), Gerbera, Italmas and Parodia decoys — were launched from directions including Bryansk, Kursk, Shatalovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo in Russia, and Hvardiyske in occupied Crimea.
As of 9 a.m., eight ballistic missiles and 14 attack drones struck 14 locations, with debris from downed munitions falling at 10 sites. Two ballistic missiles did not reach their targets, with information still being clarified.
In Poltava Oblast, Russian forces struck with both missiles and drones, killing four people and injuring 31 others of varying severity.
Among the dead were two State Emergency Service rescuers who arrived at the scene and were killed in a double-tap Russian strike. Another 23 rescuers were wounded, with three in serious condition as medics fight for their lives.
The attack damaged an industrial facility, left 3,480 households without gas supply and affected railway infrastructure. Assistance is being provided to the victims.
