At least three people were injured. According to preliminary reports, the strikes damaged apartment buildings and energy hubs in five districts of Kyiv.
In the Darnytskyi district, a 25-story apartment building and a five-story residential building were damaged. A fire broke out in a non-residential building.
A civilian infrastructure facility was hit in the Desnyanskyi district.
In the Dniprovskyi district, debris from downed aerial targets was found at two sites. A fire broke out at the kindergarten. A nearby five-story residential building was damaged.
A gas station, along with several parked cars, were damaged in the central Pecherskyi district.
In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a 22-story apartment building was hit.
The attack was a part of a new large-scale Russian assault on Ukraine amid freezing winter temperatures. Kyiv and its suburbs, as well as Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Zaporizhzhya, were the focus of the enemy barrage.
