Russian drone strike hits infrastructure in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, train delays

Dnipropetrovsk regional administration head Vladyslav Haivanenko said Russian invaders attacked the Mykolaiv community in the Synelnykove district, wounding two men, ages 29 and 42. Fires broke out at the site, and infrastructure was damaged.

Russian forces also attacked Pavlohrad and Piatykhatky with drones, causing fires and damaging infrastructure and a transport company.

In addition, Russian troops struck the Nikopol district and the Marhanets community with Grad multiple-launch rocket systems.

The State Emergency Service said a rescuer and an enterprise employee were wounded in the strike on the Synelnykove district and were hospitalized.

Ukrzaliznytsia said the attack caused a power outage to the contact network in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The railway operator said backup diesel locomotives had been deployed and rail power crews were gradually restoring electric traction, though delays persist. Trains delayed include:

No. 119 Dnipro–Chełm (+3 hours);
No. 120 Chełm–Dnipro (+3:40);
No. 75/76 Kyiv–Kryvyi Rih (+4:25);
No. 37/38 Kyiv–Zaporizhzhya (+4:10);
No. 79/80 Dnipro–Lviv (+6:30).

Ukrzaliznytsia also said some suburban trains on the Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih routes will run with delays of three to four hours. In particular, train No. 6008 Piatykhatky–Dnipro is delayed by three hours, and No. 6501 Piatykhatky–Kryvyi Rih by four hours.
